Marketing Manager (Growth & Brand)

San Francisco, CA (On-site) · Full-time

As the Marketing Manager, you will own the challenge of increasing Methodic’s visibility in the market and driving customer acquisition through creative, strategic marketing initiatives. You will communicate how Methodic solves the pain points of building financial products by highlighting our key values: reduced cost, faster time-to-market, ensured compliance, and overall product excellence. This role involves both high-level strategy and hands-on execution across multiple marketing channels.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a marketing plan that spans content marketing, digital marketing (SEO/SEM, social media, email campaigns), PR, and events, all aligned with Methodic’s business goals.
Craft clear and compelling messaging for all marketing materials, emphasizing Methodic’s unique selling propositions (e.g., “No dev needed – launch a fintech product in 1 day,” or “Built-in compliance so you stay out of jail”). Ensure consistency of message across all channels.
Produce or oversee the creation of high-quality content that educates and attracts our target customers: this could include blog posts, whitepapers, webinars, case studies (for example, telling the story of how a client launched a trading app in Hong Kong quickly with Methodic), and short videos.
Manage our online presence, including keeping the website up-to-date (with product info, client testimonials, and SEO-optimized landing pages) and engaging with communities or forums relevant to fintech startups.
Plan and run marketing campaigns on channels like LinkedIn, Google Ads, or industry newsletters to generate leads; continually A/B test and optimize campaigns for better ROI.
Organize Methodic’s participation in industry events (conferences, fintech meetups) – whether that's sponsoring, having a booth, or securing speaking opportunities for our leadership to establish thought leadership.
Track marketing metrics (website traffic, conversion rates, cost per lead, etc.) and use analytics to make data-driven decisions, refining our tactics for better results. Report on marketing performance to the team, and adjust strategies based on what’s working.
Work with sales and customer success to ensure alignment – for example, ensure marketing is attracting the right kind of leads and equip them with the collateral they need to close deals or help customers (slide decks, one-pagers, demos).

Requirements

5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably with startups or tech companies (experience in fintech is a big advantage).
Proven ability to develop a marketing strategy and execute it hands-on – you can go from planning campaigns to writing a blog post, to analyzing metrics, all in the same week.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to transform technical concepts into persuasive stories and messages that resonate with business decision-makers.
Experience with digital marketing and analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEO tools, marketing automation platforms, CRM systems for lead tracking).
Creative mindset for growth marketing – always looking for new, unconventional ways to get the word out (growth hacks, viral campaigns, etc.), while also capable of running proven playbooks effectively.
Strong understanding of branding and how to maintain a consistent, credible brand image.
Ability to multitask and manage projects in a fast-paced environment; strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Passion for fintech or financial innovation is a plus – being able to speak the language of our audience (finance professionals, startup founders) will help in crafting authentic marketing content.
