Open role

Partnerships Manager (Fintech Ecosystem)

San Francisco, CA (On-site) · Full-time

As the Partnerships Manager, you will focus on building and managing relationships with external partners that enhance Methodic’s platform and go-to-market. These partners might include banks, brokerage firms, payment processors, identity verification (KYC) providers, and other fintech service companies that our platform or our clients can benefit from. By creating a strong ecosystem around Methodic, you’ll help us deliver more value to clients out-of-the-box and also tap into new customer networks via partner channels.

Responsibilities

Identify and prioritize potential partners whose services complement Methodic’s capabilities (for instance, banking-as-a-service APIs, forex exchange services, custodial services, fraud detection tools, etc.).
Reach out to and establish relationships with these organizations. Clearly communicate the mutual benefits of partnership, whether it’s technical integration, co-marketing opportunities, or referral arrangements.
Negotiate partnership agreements that outline how we’ll work together – this could involve API integration scopes, data sharing, revenue sharing, joint marketing efforts, and support responsibilities.
Work closely with Methodic’s engineering team to coordinate the technical integration of partner services into our platform (ensuring that integrated services work seamlessly for our customers).
Manage and nurture ongoing partner relationships: serve as the point of contact for partners, periodically review the partnership’s performance, and explore deeper collaboration or resolve any issues.
Collaborate with marketing and sales to promote our integrated solutions – for example, launching a case study about how a combined Methodic + Partner solution benefited a customer, or ensuring our sales team knows when to pitch a partner-integrated feature.
Monitor the results of partnerships (e.g., how many leads or customers come via partners, or how many clients activate a particular integration) and report on the ROI of these alliances, adjusting strategy to focus on the most valuable partnerships.

Requirements

5+ years in business development, partnerships, or strategic alliance roles, ideally within fintech or enterprise software.
Strong knowledge of the fintech ecosystem – you know who the key players are in areas like payments, trading tech, regtech, banking APIs, etc., and understand how they could fit together with a platform like Methodic.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage with senior executives at partner companies and also work through details with their technical teams.
Negotiation skills and a savvy business sense to structure deals that provide clear win-wins and are operationally realistic.
Project management abilities to handle multiple partnership discussions and integration projects simultaneously, keeping everything on track.
Ability to understand technical documentation and workflows at a high level so you can discuss integration requirements and constraints with credibility.
A proactive, outgoing mindset – you enjoy networking and are capable of representing Methodic well in external forums and events as you build our partner network.
