Product Manager

As a Product Manager, you will sit at the intersection of technology, finance, and user experience. You will guide the development of our platform’s features and modules to ensure they meet customer needs and align with Methodic’s mission of enabling rapid, safe launch of financial products. You'll define the product roadmap, coordinate across teams, and make decisions that balance strategic goals with day-to-day execution.

Responsibilities

Define and own the product roadmap for the Methodic platform, prioritizing features and improvements that deliver the most value to our customers and differentiate our offering.
Gather input from customers, internal teams (sales, support, engineering), and market research to identify pain points and opportunities; translate these insights into detailed product requirements or user stories.
Specify new features (e.g., support for a new financial product type, additional compliance tools, integrations with a new partner service) with clear definitions of success and acceptance criteria.
Work closely with engineering and design teams through the development cycle: clarify requirements, make trade-off decisions, and ensure that what gets built fulfills the intended goals.
Coordinate product launches including internal readiness (training sales/support on new features) and external communication (working with marketing on release notes, documentation, and announcements).
Monitor product performance and adoption metrics after releases; gather feedback to iteratively improve features.
Stay informed about fintech trends, competitor products, and regulatory changes, and adjust the product strategy to ensure Methodic remains the best solution for launching financial products.

Requirements

5+ years of product management experience in software, with at least some experience in fintech or a closely related field.
Strong understanding of software development processes (agile methodologies, etc.) and proven ability to work with engineering teams to deliver products.
Knowledge of financial services or fintech products (banking, trading, payments, etc.) and their operational/compliance challenges.
Excellent communication skills – capable of understanding and explaining complex concepts to different audiences, from developers to executives to end-users.
Data-driven mindset; comfortable using analytics and user research to inform decisions and measure success.
Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills; able to manage a product backlog and roadmap effectively while juggling incoming requests.
Passion for helping customers succeed, with a strategic vision of how Methodic can continually provide more value in the financial services ecosystem.
